About the role#
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our team in Dallas. You will support our accounting staff with daily financial operations, including client fund distributions and record keeping. This role provides hands-on experience in a professional legal office environment.
What you'll do#
- Record and maintain accurate financial transactions.
- Assist with billing, invoicing, client fund distributions, and expense tracking.
- Support bank reconciliations and help resolve financial discrepancies.
- Collaborate with accounting and legal staff to support daily operations.
- Handle confidential financial and client information with professionalism.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- Availability to work at least 20 hours per week.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
