About the role#
Asure Software is looking for a Software Engineering Intern to join our Research and Development team. This is a remote, part-time position requiring 20 or more hours per week. You will receive mentorship from experienced professionals while working on projects related to Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. Successful interns may be considered for future employment opportunities after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Support data science and AI projects within an AWS cloud environment.
- Assist with hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Help IT staff with daily operations, system updates, and maintenance.
- Perform software installations, configurations, and testing.
- Resolve basic IT queries for employees.
- Maintain system logs and document IT processes.
- Work with the development and security teams on various projects.
- Learn and apply standard practices in IT support and administration.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of cloud environments and operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Coursework or experience in Data Science or Artificial Intelligence is preferred.

- This role is remote.
- The internship is part-time and paid at $15-18 per hour.
