About the role#
This internship offers a hands-on experience for students interested in construction management. You will work on active jobsites in the San Francisco Bay Area during the summer of 2027. This is a full-time, paid position that focuses on real-world project tasks and professional development.
What you'll do#
- Work directly with Superintendents and Project Management staff on active construction sites.
- Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, site logistics, and schedules.
- Engage with subcontractors, design teams, and owners to support project progress.
- Gain experience using construction management tools like Bluebeam, Procore, OPC, and BIM.
- Participate in a summer-long practice problem designed to build your problem-solving skills.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree program.
- Proficiency with Excel and solid math and analytical skills.
- A detail-oriented approach with a track record of following through on tasks.
- A curious, coachable mindset and a readiness to learn in an active jobsite environment.
