About the role#
CommQuest Services offers clinical and non-clinical internship opportunities for students pursuing degrees in Psychology, Sociology, Criminal Justice, Human Resources, and Marketing. This program provides field experience through a combination of direct service and administrative work. Interns are required to complete background checks, fingerprinting, drug screens, TB testing, orientation, and essential training. These are non-paid positions.
What you'll do#
- Complete all required documentation in a timely and effective manner.
- Follow organizational policies, procedures, and professional ethical standards.
- Learn technical skills specific to the mental health and behavioral health field.
- Participate in job shadowing and observation.
- Communicate with team members, departments, and clients.
- Maintain regular contact with your assigned supervisor.
- Provide information to individuals interested in agency services and direct them to the correct point-of-contact.
- Assist with administrative reports, charts, and exhibits.
- Adapt to new approaches and tasks as assigned.
- Uphold all safety policies and procedures.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university or college program.
- Clinical interns must hold and maintain a valid trainee license relevant to their work.
- Proof of educational enrollment and valid licensure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and use sound judgment.
- Reliability and flexibility as a team player.
- Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
- Reliable transportation.
