    About the role#

    This internship provides an opportunity to gain professional experience within the transportation and logistics sector. Interns will train and job-shadow across various departments to understand company workflows and business needs. You will take ownership of individual projects and collaborate with other interns on team assignments. The role requires applying lean tools to identify and eliminate waste while maintaining a focus on workplace safety.

    What you'll do#

    • Complete job-shadowing to learn business processes and workflows.
    • Lead assigned projects and participate in team-based initiatives.
    • Define problems, collect data, and perform analysis to determine solutions.
    • Review, track, and update various reports.
    • Present findings and project recommendations at the end of the internship.
    • Apply lean thinking to improve processes.
    • Maintain responsibility for the safety of yourself and your co-workers.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited college or university.
    • A minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a business-related field.
    • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
    • Prior leadership experience.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Burley, Idaho.
    • Term: Summer 2027.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Commitment: Minimum of 350 hours during the internship.
    • Compensation: Paid position.
    • Requirements: Ability to travel as needed and attend intern training events. This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
