About the role#
This is a full-time internship for the Summer of 2027. You will work alongside ERCOT employees to solve real challenges facing the electric industry. The program runs from early June through the second week of August.
What you'll do#
You will participate in assignments and projects across several technical areas, including:
- Collaboration and End Point Management
- Cyber Security
- GMS Applications Engineering
- GMS Systems Support
- GMS Technology Development
- Test Automation Development
What you'll need#
We are looking for students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program. You should be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, or another IT-related field. A GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
Location & details#
This position is based in Taylor, Texas. The work modality is hybrid, requiring you to be on-site at least two days per week. This is a paid internship. Please note that ERCOT does not provide sponsorship for this role.
