About the role#
The Continuous Improvement Intern will work at our beverage facility in Coopersville, Michigan. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role for the Summer 2027 term, running from May 24 through August 10. You will report to the Continuous Improvement Manager.
What you'll do#
- Lead efficiency improvement projects.
- Facilitate process development initiatives within our packaging and processing areas.
- Use manufacturing tools and techniques to solve problems.
- Identify factors that contribute to production inefficiencies.
- Manage projects using established fundamentals.
- Learn about aseptic packaging and processing principles.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a four-year undergraduate degree program. You must be entering your senior year in the Fall semester following the internship.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
- Preferred majors include Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering.
- Strong communication skills in both written and verbal English.
- Ability to handle ambiguity.
Location & details#
- Location: Coopersville, Michigan.
- Work modality: On-site, Monday through Friday.
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and spend 8 hours sitting, standing, or walking. You will have exposure to machinery, forklifts, and sanitation chemicals.
