About the role#
This is a 16-month co-op position for the Winter 2027 term. You will join the International TacCIS team to help deliver communication and information systems for armoured vehicles used by NATO nations. You will work in a hybrid capacity based in Calgary, Alberta.
What you'll do#
- Perform design, analysis, and test functions under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Implement software routines that meet specific project requirements.
- Maintain the code base according to established coding standards.
- Document your designs, tests, and analyses using standard templates.
- Investigate system problem reports and perform root cause and trend analyses.
- Provide technical support during integration and qualification testing.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian government security clearance.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Familiarity with AI/ML models is preferred.
