About the role#
Halff is hiring a Survey Intern for our Richardson, Texas office. This is a full-time, paid position for the summer of 2027. The internship runs from June 7, 2027, through August 13, 2027. You will work 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
What you'll do#
- Perform field surveys to support land development, transportation, energy, and utility projects.
- Complete land surveying tasks using conventional, GPS, or terrestrial laser scanning equipment.
What you'll need#
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering major.
