About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site at our corporate office in West Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves weekly travel to various Hy-Vee store locations, which will require overnight stays. You will work approximately 40 hours per week.
What you'll do#
- Organize, document, and lead in-store PCI DSS audits for the IT Security team.
- Identify and report compliance issues that need follow-up or further investigation.
- Plan and communicate audit expectations to store leadership.
- Collaborate with the Hy-Vee Loss Prevention and Information Security Compliance teams.
What you'll need#
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current enrollment in college with a major in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering is preferred.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- An ability to spot problems early and execute solutions.
- Previous experience at a Hy-Vee retail location is a plus.
