About the role#
As a Decarbonization Strategy Intern, you will work on real projects that shape how we operate. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to our sustainability goals and collaborating with teams across the organization. This position is based in Montreal and offers the chance to apply your academic background to practical logistics and energy challenges.
What you'll do#
- Collect, analyze, and manage data for decarbonization initiatives, including transportation electrification and energy efficiency.
- Support the data collection process for our annual greenhouse gas emissions inventory.
- Build and maintain Excel models, performance metrics, dashboards, and other decision-support tools.
- Research new decarbonization technologies, government programs, and market trends.
- Create reports, presentations, and materials for various stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and help improve internal processes.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in sustainable development, engineering, business administration, project management, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge in at least two of the following: sustainability, transportation electrification, logistics, energy efficiency, project management, or data analysis.
- Strong Excel skills and a genuine interest in working with data.
- An analytical mindset that turns raw data into clear insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well in a team.
- Familiarity with Power BI or Power Query is considered an asset.
