About the role#
This is a part-time, rolling internship based in Chicago. You will work 20-40 hours per week, with flexibility provided for class schedules. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in transportation and logistics, with the potential for consideration for full-time employment upon graduation.
What you'll do#
- Manage carriers to ensure on-time service.
- Negotiate transportation rates with carriers to meet profit goals.
- Learn to market company solutions to existing and prospective customers.
- Monitor in-transit freight and troubleshoot problems to ensure timely delivery.
- Learn to manage a network of partner carriers to move freight profitably.
- Build professional relationships through networking.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a junior or senior in college.
- A minimum GPA of 2.7, with 3.0 or higher preferred.
- Majors in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Operations Management.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once.

- Compensation: $15 - $24.50 per hour.
