About the role#
We are looking for interns to join our engineering teams for the Summer 2027 term. You will work alongside experienced engineers to solve data challenges and build technology that reaches our customers. This is a full-time, paid position where you will contribute to real-world products while learning our internal engineering standards.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to real features by writing code, participating in reviews, and deploying to production.
- Build server-side and user-facing applications that utilize our machine learning capabilities.
- Design APIs, services, and interfaces that balance immediate needs with future scaling.
- Develop abstractions to support system observability and platform deployment.
- Create data ingestion and processing pipelines for software products and research.
- Follow engineering best practices, including static type checking, Infrastructure as Code, and code reviews.
- Dedicate time to continuous learning and exploration.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least one area of core expertise, such as distributed computing or deep knowledge of our tech stack.
- A practical understanding of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns.
- A portfolio of work, open source contributions, or personal projects.
- The versatility to adapt and contribute across different teams.
- Strong habits regarding coding, documentation, and communication.

- This is an on-site role based in either Cambridge, Massachusetts, or New York, New York.
- We do not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
