    About the role#

    KFI Engineers is looking for a Mechanical Engineering Co-op to join the Utilities and Central Energy team for the Winter 2027 term. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position. You will gain hands-on experience in the consulting engineering industry by working on real projects and collaborating with our team of professionals.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform engineering calculations.
    • Visit project sites to gather field information.
    • Develop and update Excel spreadsheets for document preparation.
    • Participate in company meetings to provide analysis, input, and recommendations.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules.
    • Manage your workload across assigned activities to meet deadlines.

    What you'll need#

    • You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
    • You have completed at least two years of college coursework.
    • Proficiency with computer technology and MS Office applications.
    • A working knowledge of engineering design software such as AutoCAD or Revit.
    • The ability and willingness to travel if needed.

    • Locations: Lexington, KY; Cincinnati, OH; St Paul, MN.
    • This position is on-site and does not offer visa sponsorship.
