About the role#
The Law Offices of Sabrina Li, P.C. is looking for a Bilingual Legal Intern to support our immigration law practice. This is a paid, full-time internship that offers hands-on experience in a legal office setting. You will work directly with attorneys and staff to assist with case preparation and client support. This role requires a minimum commitment of 12 weeks and follows a rolling recruitment process.
What you'll do#
- Conduct legal research on immigration issues using case law, statutes, and regulations.
- Assist in preparing forms, filings, and supporting evidence for immigration applications.
- Summarize research findings and present them in clear formats.
- Support attorneys with client-related tasks, including drafting correspondence and maintaining case records.
- Handle administrative duties such as organizing files, scanning documents, and tracking case deadlines.
- Interact with clients to gather information or provide status updates under attorney guidance.
- Collaborate with team members in a multicultural office environment.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of or a degree in Political Science, International Relations, History, Sociology, or a related field.
- Fluency in both English and Mandarin is required.
- A genuine interest in U.S. immigration law.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Professionalism when handling sensitive and confidential client information.

- This position is on-site at our offices in Dallas, Texas; Pasadena, California; or Santa Ana, California.
- This is a paid internship.
