    About the role#

    We are looking for an Electrical or Computer Engineering student to join us for the Summer 2027 term. This role supports the design, development, and testing of electronic and electromechanical systems. You will work on-site in Cypress, California, assisting our engineering team with hands-on tasks and technical analysis.

    What you'll do#

    • Design, develop, and analyze electronics systems including hardware, power, and integrated circuits.
    • Troubleshoot malfunctions in existing products and recommend design improvements.
    • Compile and evaluate test data to ensure systems meet objectives.
    • Build, fabricate, and assemble electrical or mechanical components.
    • Set up and conduct tests, recording all numerical and graphical results.
    • Assist with process documentation, bills of materials, and route sheets.
    • Support the development of plant layouts and manufacturing methods.
    • Coordinate maintenance projects and help maintain equipment documentation.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in an accredited Electrical or Computer Engineering program.
    • High school diploma or GED.
    • Novice technical expertise with beginning familiarity with laboratory or shop equipment.
    • U.S. Citizenship is required.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain an active DOD security clearance.
