About the role#
This 11-week internship provides hands-on experience in managing high-volume travel centers. You will work alongside store leaders to learn about food service, truck care, and daily facility operations. The program is designed to help you build a foundation for a career in retail management.
What you'll do#
- Participate in training across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
- Learn how to drive sales, manage costs, and support store profitability.
- Develop skills in team leadership, staffing, and employee development.
- Deliver customer service and resolve issues as they arise.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and operational standards.
- Understand and help enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
- Collaborate on a cross-functional project with other interns and company leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2- or 4-year degree program in business, management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Confidence interacting with customers and team members, with an interest in leadership.
- Willingness to learn by doing in a customer-focused environment.
- Ability to navigate computer programs and technology tools for daily operations.
- Ability to talk, hear, move around, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

- Location: Dickson, Tennessee.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday.
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
