    About the role#

    This is an unpaid clinical placement designed to supplement your academic requirements. You will work within the clinical pastoral education program at Nebraska Medicine. The department reviews applications based on preceptor availability and existing affiliation agreements with your school.

    What you'll do#

    • Complete your required clinical hours.
    • Join the educational components of the program.
    • Work alongside staff in a clinical environment.
    • Submit your application for review by the department.
    • Follow the specific guidelines set by your preceptor.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an academic program, such as Nursing, Public Health, or Human Resources.
    • A solid understanding of clinical pastoral education principles.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with staff and patients.
    • The ability to meet the scheduling requirements of your preceptor.
