About the role#
As a Software Engineer Intern at Premier Inc., you will work with a team of engineers to build software products used by hospitals and healthcare providers. These tools help improve clinical outcomes and assist providers in ordering the right screenings for their patients. This role focuses on front-end UI development and requires a desire to learn new technologies in a collaborative environment.
What you'll do#
- Write code to assist in the development of new products.
- Enhance and maintain existing software products.
- Analyze and address requirements in product design.
- Create and execute automated and manual unit test cases.
- Collaborate with the software engineering team on a daily basis.
What you'll need#
- A High School Diploma or GED.
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Coursework in software development.
- Experience with JavaScript and React.
- The ability to communicate effectively and adapt to changing priorities.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship located on-site in Charlotte, North Carolina.
- The position operates on a rolling term basis.
