About the role#
The Financial Systems & Solutions Intern will support the Accounting organization by assisting with ERP configurations, process enhancements, and system-driven issue resolution across the Americas region. You will gain hands-on experience with enterprise financial systems while collaborating with Accounting, Finance, and IT teams to improve efficiency and data integrity.
What you'll do#
- Support ERP system configuration, testing efforts, and documentation updates.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving accounting and financial system issues.
- Analyze business processes and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency.
- Support user acceptance testing for system upgrades and new functionality.
- Maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements.
- Monitor and validate financial data integrity within ERP and reporting systems.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data analyses.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end activities through system analysis.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation and standardization.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- Completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Interest in financial systems, ERP platforms, or process improvement.
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, or business process mapping is a plus.
- Exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or JD Edwards is a plus.
