About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for the Winter 2027 term. You will work on-site at our Allentown, Pennsylvania location. This role provides practical experience in internal audit functions, including exposure to SAP ERP systems like SAP ECC, SAP BW, and BPC.
What you'll do#
- Conduct Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls testing across areas such as Financial Reporting, Taxes, Payroll, Revenue, Fixed Assets, Treasury, and Requisition-to-Pay.
- Prepare audit work papers and analyze evidence of control performance.
- Make pass or failure determinations during control testing and support follow-up on identified issues.
- Execute audit programs for operational audits and document your conclusions.
- Participate in meetings with management and external auditors.
What you'll need#
- Current sophomore or junior status in a bachelor's degree program for Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum GPA of 3.3.
- Previous experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- An inquisitive mindset. Experience with data analytics tools is preferred.
