About the role#
This is a paid, part-time student position with the Cooper Street Hospitality Marketing Team at Rutgers University-Camden. You will gain experience in marketing, communications, and event planning while working directly on campus. This role is offered on a rolling basis.
What you'll do#
- Create and star in social media content, including photos, reels, and graphics.
- Plan and run campus events like theme dinners, orientation activations, and sampling events.
- Capture and edit video and photo content to highlight dining initiatives.
- Promote meal plans and dining locations through peer-to-peer outreach and tabling.
- Assist with the creation of printed marketing collateral and digital signage.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Rutgers University-Camden.
- Academic focus in Marketing, Communications, or Graphic Design.
- Strong photography and videography skills.
- Experience with social media platforms and current trends.
- Proficiency with editing software such as Canva, CapCut, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
