About the role#
We are looking for a student intern to join the Carolina Dining Services team for the summer of 2026. This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. You will help manage our social media presence and connect with the student community.
What you'll do#
- Create content for our social media platforms.
- Help develop strategies to engage students.
- Monitor our channels to track feedback and interactions.
- Work with the team to promote dining events and initiatives.
- Review performance metrics to refine our approach.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program related to Communications, Marketing, or Graphic Design.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
- Proficiency in graphic design software, specifically Adobe Creative Suite.
- An interest in food service and community engagement.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
