About the role#
This 8-week summer internship offers hands-on experience in the insurance industry. You will work alongside members of the specialty insurance team to develop professional skills and explore career paths. The program runs from June 2 to July 23, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Participate in education sessions to learn about all aspects of reinsurance claims.
- Gain experience in the general claims reinsurance process and methodology.
- Assist the team with various projects and attend claims team meetings.
- Complete Arch University courses.
- Work on a capstone project that includes an individual presentation and a group presentation.
What you'll need#
- Current sophomore status with an expected graduation date between December 2028 and May 2029.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Active coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Insurance and Risk Management, or Pre-Law.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work as a team player and as a self-starter.

- This role is based in Morristown, New Jersey.
- The position is hybrid, requiring 4 days onsite and 1 day from home.
- This is a paid internship at $26 per hour.
- Relocation and housing assistance are not provided.
