About the role#
AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Traffic/Transportation Civil Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in our Raleigh, North Carolina office. You will work alongside our traffic engineers to support projects for the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
What you'll do#
- Compile and analyze traffic data for reports and presentations.
- Perform field data collection.
- Write code, scripts, or algorithms to process raw data for graphics and reports.
- Draft technical documents to help our clients make data-driven decisions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
- Completion of 60 credit hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by Summer 2027.
- Basic computer skills for data entry into spreadsheets and databases.

- Location: Raleigh, North Carolina.

- Compensation: $25 to $31 per hour.
