About the role#
Kimley-Horn is hiring Civil Engineering Interns for our Phoenix, Arizona office. This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship. You will work on pre-construction design, planning, and analysis to help move projects forward.
What you'll do#
- Use technical software to analyze, create, and check project deliverables.
- Assist project managers with design, permitting, and planning tasks.
- Solve complex engineering problems while working with different teams.
- Learn to use industry software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, or GIS.
- Build your knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations along with company standards.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree from an ABET accredited program.
- Eligible majors include Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
