    About the role#

    We are looking for an Electrical Engineering student to join our Power Delivery team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship.

    What you'll do#

    • Perform field investigations and feasibility studies.
    • Design electrical systems, including building electrical, electric vehicle charging, and Ports and Harbors electrification.
    • Develop single-line diagrams, load schedules, and schematic designs.
    • Prepare electrical design plans, equipment selections, and solar system sizing.
    • Run Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Power System Studies using ETAP or SKM.
    • Collaborate with team members on design coordination, schedules, and project deliverables.
    • Design lighting systems and controls, as well as normal, emergency, and renewable power systems.
    • Coordinate and verify as-built drawings.
    • Perform energy calculations using EnergyPro or IES VE.

    What you'll need#

    • You are currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
    • You are in the process of receiving an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering degree.
