About the role#
Stanley Consultants is hiring an Electrical Student Intern for our Denver office. This role supports our energy team by working on various building and site infrastructure projects. You will gain hands-on experience in electrical engineering while working under the guidance of experienced professionals.
What you'll do#
- Develop an understanding of electrical power, lighting, control, and communications systems.
- Learn to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Perform and check engineering calculations, including electrical system modeling and lighting and power calculations.
- Create electrical lighting and power plans, panelboard schedules, and equipment wiring schematics.
- Coordinate information with vendors and perform field site visits.
- Back check drawings and handle general clerk duties.
- Work independently on assigned tasks while proactively seeking guidance from experienced engineers.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a BSEE degree program at an ABET accredited university.
- Current standing as a sophomore, junior, or senior working toward a BS in Electrical Engineering.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- You must be local to the Denver area.
- Ability to work legally in the United States for an unlimited time without requiring sponsorship.

- This is an on-site position based in Denver, Colorado.
- The role is full-time and paid.
- Hiring occurs on a rolling basis.
