About the role#
Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern for the Transportation Construction Services Department in Chicago. This role involves working alongside senior engineers and inspectors on a range of infrastructure projects, from local agency work to major interstate construction.
What you'll do#
- Assist with oversight of infrastructure projects during the construction phase.
- Learn quality metrics, testing requirements, and inspection duties.
- Perform field work calculations and prepare daily reports.
- Coordinate project activities with other staff members.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor of Science program, with at least sophomore standing.
- Ability to obtain Engineering-In-Training status.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A driving record in good standing.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and a willingness to ask questions.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, with the potential for extended hours.
