About the role#
Keystone Consulting Engineers, Inc. offers paid internships for students to gain practical experience in civil engineering and surveying. This position is on-site, with scheduling based on your school commitments and our project requirements.
What you'll do#
- Assist with plans, drawings, calculations, reports, and project documentation.
- Support research related to properties, ordinances, permits, or regulatory requirements.
- Help organize field data, project files, maps, and technical information.
- Participate in site visits, field observations, survey work, or construction-related assignments.
- Work with project teams to learn how assignments move from planning and design through review and construction.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in civil engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, GIS, environmental science, geology, construction management, or a related program.
- Interest in civil engineering, surveying, municipal services, or related technical work.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions and learn from feedback.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or GIS is preferred.
