About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in audio post-production for anime, television, and video games. You will work within a professional studio environment to learn industry workflows, observe editing processes, and receive mentorship from audio professionals. This is an unpaid position intended for educational purposes and must be completed for academic credit.
What you'll do#
- Assist audio, production, and support teams with supervised tasks.
- Support preparatory work for engineers and recording sessions.
- Observe and assist with audio editing workflows.
- Help maintain studio cleanliness, organization, and functionality.
- Learn studio etiquette, workflow, and professional collaboration.
- Support daily operations and studio readiness.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college, university, trade, or vocational program.
- You must receive academic credit for your participation.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Pro Tools or a similar digital audio workstation.
- A professional and dependable approach to following direction.
- Strong organizational, time management, and detail-oriented skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a team.
Location & details#
- Location: Burbank, California.
- Term: Fall 2026.
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: 2 or more days per week, 8 hours per day, for 10 to 13 weeks.
- Majors: Media Studies, Communications, Graphic Design, Art, Psychology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
