About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to gain corporate experience and learn about the business while preparing for a career. You will support the development of surge arrester materials and designs. This includes projects that explore AI-driven material formulation and solutions to enhance safety and fire prevention.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineering teams on prototype development, testing, and data analysis.
- Apply classroom skills to on-the-job experiences.
- Work on comprehensive, value-added projects.
- Assist with process improvement.
- Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Develop technical skills and build professional relationships.
- Present results to the local management team at the end of the program.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in an accredited college or university throughout the summer of 2027.
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- A minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products is preferred.
