About the role#
Zurich Alternative Asset Management (ZAAM) is looking for an intern to join our New York City office for the summer of 2027. You will work directly with our hedge fund, private equity, real estate, and operations teams. This role covers operational workflows across all ZAAM asset classes. The internship lasts approximately three months, with the possibility of extending your time with us through the school year or the following summer.
What you'll do#
- Support daily operational functions and asset management procedures.
- Perform analytical work and market research.
- Use systems like Yardi, Allocator, Burgiss, and Dynamo.
- Apply Excel and PowerPoint skills to real-world tasks.
- Complete a research project and present your findings to the ZAAM Group.
- Network with professionals across different asset classes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s program in Economics, Business, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- You must be a rising Junior or Senior with at least two years of college coursework completed.
- You will be enrolled in school for the fall of 2027.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Legal eligibility to work in the United States indefinitely.
- A background in quantitative analysis or programming.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Previous experience in a corporate setting.

- Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour.
