About the role#
This internship provides practical experience in corporate finance and financial planning. You will work with the finance team to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting initiatives. This is a full-time, paid summer position based in Indianapolis.
What you'll do#
- Assist with monthly and quarterly variance analysis to identify trends and risks.
- Support the preparation of management reports and financial dashboards.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support business decisions.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase reporting efficiency.
- Collaborate with the team on budgeting and forecasting projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel.
- A basic understanding of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
