About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring a Co-op or Intern for our Assurance team in Winnipeg. This is a 4-month position running from September to December 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance while working alongside our professional staff.
What you'll do#
- Prepare tax returns for a variety of clients using your technical accounting knowledge.
- Contribute to tax compliance projects and assignments based on regulatory standards.
- Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients by responding to their requests.
- Participate in business development initiatives and identify new opportunities for our clients.
What you'll need#
- You are currently working toward a degree or diploma with a focus on accounting.
- A strong desire to provide outstanding service to our clients.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
