    About the role#

    The Indigenous Student Program at BDO Canada is designed for self-identifying Indigenous post-secondary students, including First Nations, Inuit, and Métis. This program provides an opportunity to gain professional experience across various service lines during the summer of 2027. You will connect with the Indigenous Pillar community and receive ongoing mentorship from Indigenous leaders at the firm.

    What you'll do#

    • Build skills through hands-on work in service lines such as Assurance, Digital, Business Services, Financial Advisory, Management Consulting, or Personal Debt Solutions.
    • Participate in local and national Indigenous community events.
    • Demonstrate core values of integrity, respect, and collaboration in your daily work.
    • Contribute to client service by identifying needs and delivering high-quality results.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a diploma or degree program.
    • Interest in professional services and a desire to provide outstanding client service.
    • Proven leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
    • Strong attention to detail, analytical abilities, and communication skills.
    • Relevant academic backgrounds include Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Public Health, Political Science, Sociology, or Psychology.

    Location & details#

    • This is a full-time, paid summer internship for 2027.
    • The role is on-site at one of our Canadian offices located in Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary, Kitchener-Waterloo, Halifax, Montreal, St. John's, Vancouver, Saskatoon, Ottawa, Winnipeg, or London.
