About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027 based in Chicago. You will join our trading department to solve quantitative problems and learn how our proprietary systems function. We provide comprehensive training through our Belvedere Trading University program, so prior knowledge of financial markets is not required. You must be available to work on-site for the duration of the program.
What you'll do#
- Assist with analyzing daily trades and identifying significant trends.
- Rotate between various product groups to understand our market strategies.
- Collaborate with developers and strategists on daily adjustments to trading tactics.
- Conduct quantitative research to support our core market-making operations.
- Analyze large datasets to extract insights that improve our trading models.
What you'll need#
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Curiosity about financial markets and a drive to ask questions.
- Ability to learn programming languages, specifically C++, C#, and Python.
- Proficiency in using AI tools to improve your efficiency.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Ability to maintain regular, on-site attendance in Chicago.
