About the role#
The Investment Business Advisor Intern program offers hands-on experience within our Life Company organization. You will work alongside experienced professionals to develop and implement business solutions while gaining exposure to investment operations. This full-time summer internship focuses on supporting project management, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve real business challenges and build professional relationships.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop and implement business initiatives.
- Support project prioritization to manage resource utilization effectively.
- Serve as a resource on cross-functional teams to support risk mitigation and monitor changes to the regulatory environment.
- Research and administer rules, requirements, and processes to ensure compliance and product competitiveness.
- Participate in the development of investment operations business rules.
- Partner with process owners to build business cases, define test strategies, and manage defect resolution.
- Monitor operational and market performance policies and prepare trend analyses.
- Ensure business activities align with established risk and compliance procedures.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Data Science, or a related field.
- Graduation date between August 2027 and June 2028.
- Developing knowledge of investment products such as mutual funds, brokerage, and retirement accounts.
- Ability to follow established procedures and apply business rules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft systems.

- This is an on-site, full-time internship for Summer 2027.
- Locations: San Antonio, Texas and Plano, Texas.
- This position is paid.
