About the role#
Labcorp is looking for a Finance Excellence Intern to join our team in Durham, NC. This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work 40 hours per week in a hybrid environment. The program runs from June 1, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Support the Finance Excellence team in collecting, validating, and analyzing financial data.
- Assist with data governance and documentation efforts.
- Map data sources, define key financial metrics, and support data quality checks.
- Create dashboards, ad-hoc analyses, and presentations to contribute to analytics and insights initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or Data Analytics.
- Foundational skills in Microsoft Excel and a willingness to learn new tools.
- Familiarity with financial analysis, statistics, or data management through coursework or hands-on experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly, follow structured processes, and collaborate within a team.
- A strong interest in financial data, analytics, and technology.
