About the role#
The Technology Intern program provides hands-on experience in software and data engineering. You will work with senior engineers to build technical solutions, support production environments, and learn modern development practices. This program is designed to help you build professional skills through mentorship, team projects, and exposure to Agile methodologies.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with senior engineers to design, develop, code, and test technical solutions.
- Participate in code and design reviews to understand development standards.
- Assist in capturing and analyzing requirements for software and data projects.
- Contribute to the testing and implementation phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Support the resolution of production issues and respond to outages.
- Help organize work to deliver features and solutions.
- Learn and apply AI tools and automation strategies to improve efficiency.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Gain exposure to Agile ceremonies and team collaboration.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field at an accredited college or university.
- Plan to graduate after the final day of the internship.
- Foundational understanding of Java or object-oriented programming, Python, data structures, algorithms, software development fundamentals, and SQL.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership through coursework, projects, student organizations, employment, or community involvement.
- Note: This position does not provide visa sponsorship.
