About the role#
As a Bridge and Structures Intern, you will work with engineering professionals to deliver solutions for transportation projects. You will gain hands-on experience by contributing to active projects while receiving direct mentorship from Project Engineers and Project Managers.
What you'll do#
- Support the design of both conventional and complex bridges and structures.
- Perform load ratings for various structures.
- Participate in bridge inspections.
- Contribute to design, analysis, and field tasks.
- Collaborate with team members on active engineering projects.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university, with a focus on structures.
- A strong interest in bridge and structural engineering.
- Excellent analytical, technical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

- This position is based on-site in Allentown, Pennsylvania.
- This is a full-time, paid internship.
