    About the role#

    Bohler is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern for the Spring 2027 term in Boca Raton, Florida. This internship provides exposure to the daily operations of a civil engineering and site design firm. You will work alongside engineers, designers, and project managers to support the design and permitting of commercial, residential, industrial, and mixed-use developments. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position.

    What you'll do#

    • Gain hands-on experience in the stages of land development and site design.
    • Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to design concept, grading, stormwater management, utility, and soil erosion plans.
    • Collaborate with the project team to coordinate and drive development projects forward.
    • Research zoning ordinances and coordinate with local jurisdictions.
    • Visit project sites to observe field conditions.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for design and process improvements.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil, Environmental, Biosystems Engineering, or a related field.
    • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Interest in civil site design, land development, and problem-solving.
