About the role#
Canplas Industries Ltd is looking for a student to join our Edmonton distribution team for the summer of 2026. This is a full-time, on-site position. You will work within our warehouse to help meet our daily shipping and supply goals.
What you'll do#
- Pick, stack, wrap, and stage outbound freight.
- Use RF technology to receive, locate, and process stock.
- Handle administrative tasks related to outbound courier orders.
- Follow established work sequences to meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain a clean workspace according to 5S protocols.
- Report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunctions immediately.
- Follow all health, safety, and security guidelines.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a recognized educational institution, with a preference for students in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Capacity to lift 5 to 50 pounds repeatedly and remain on your feet for long shifts.
- Comfort working in an environment with changing temperatures.
- Basic computer knowledge and good communication skills.
- Availability to work full-time between June and September 2026.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check.

- Compensation: $28.02 per hour.
