About the role#
Working within the Finance department, you will assist with daily accounting tasks and support financial control processes. This position offers an opportunity to gain experience on large-scale infrastructure projects while working with a team of professionals.
What you'll do#
- Participate in accounting period closing activities.
- Track the approval of invoices and purchase orders to ensure timely payments.
- Support the monthly cost control process by analyzing and monitoring expenses.
- Use automation tools to process and analyze financial data.
- Act as a resource for inquiries regarding cost control and budget tracking.
- Review invoicing and supporting documentation for travel and other expenses.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an undergraduate university program (second year or higher) in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerQuery, and Power BI.
- Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
- Previous finance internship experience is an asset.
