About the role#
CHD is hiring second year Master level students for paid clinical internships. You will join either our Outpatient Clinics or In Home Therapy teams to gain experience in community behavioral health.
What you'll do#
- Provide individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions through both on-site and telehealth platforms.
- Work as part of a clinical group within our outpatient clinic settings.
- Deliver intensive support to children and adolescents with behavioral and emotional needs.
- Travel to meet clients at their homes, schools, libraries, or other neighborhood locations as part of the In Home Therapy team.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a second year Master student in fields such as Psychology, Public Health, Health Administration, Nursing, or Biomedical Sciences.
- A genuine interest in community behavioral health.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to engage with a diverse range of clients.
- Commitment to using evidence based practices that address specific client needs.
- Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship at $20 per hour.
- Positions are available in Springfield, Holyoke, Easthampton, Greenfield, West Springfield, and Chicopee, Massachusetts.
