About the role#
As a Student Ambassador, you are a key player in our apartment community. You report to the General Manager and handle all aspects of leasing and marketing while ensuring positive resident relations. Your work includes managing apartment rentals, overseeing move-ins, and handling lease renewals.
What you'll do#
- Greet prospective clients and conduct property tours to showcase features.
- Manage leads by handling phone calls and in-person inquiries, maintaining guest cards, and following up.
- Process lease paperwork, including applications and deposits.
- Ensure apartments are ready for move-in and orient new residents.
- Support marketing and sales efforts, including outreach marketing and weekly activity meetings.
- Update reports, monitor market conditions, and manage service requests.
- Plan resident functions and maintain accurate commission records.
- Enforce community policies and ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws.
- Keep the office and model apartments clean and open on schedule.
What you'll need#
- Experience in an administrative role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills to engage with people at all levels.
- Proactive approach with problem-solving skills and initiative.
- High level of organization to handle multiple tasks.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office and online databases.
- Resilience, adaptability, and cultural diversity awareness.
- Ability to maintain open communication with the General Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.
- Availability to work 20-25 hours per week.
- Preferred majors include Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
