    About the role#

    This internship provides an opportunity to work with a classical music station and join our education outreach team. You will support community engagement initiatives and observe the daily operations of our programming. We require a commitment of 10 hours per week for at least eight weeks, ideally split into two shifts of 4 to 5 hours each.

    What you'll do#

    • Assist with ongoing Classics For Kids projects.
    • Create digital content for our website, newsletters, blogs, and social media channels.
    • Support initiatives that promote diversity within classical music.
    • Help with fundraising campaigns for 90.9 WGUC FM.
    • Cultivate partnerships within the community.
    • Represent the station and interact with guests at events.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a major or minor related to music, music education, communications, journalism, or media studies.
    • Familiarity with classical music.
    • Proficiency across various social media platforms.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

    Location & details#

    • Location: Cincinnati, Ohio.
    • Term: Fall 2026 (September 22 to December 30).
    • Compensation: $15 per hour.
    • Work modality: On-site.
