    About the role#

    This is a full-time, paid summer internship for 2026. You will work on-site in Kitchener, Ontario, to help maintain municipal cemetery grounds.

    What you'll do#

    • Cut grass and perform general landscaping tasks.
    • Plant trees and shrubs.
    • Maintain cemetery infrastructure and facilities.
    • Clean and prepare your work areas before and after tasks.
    • Follow all safety protocols while working.

    What you'll need#

    • Physical stamina for outdoor work in different weather conditions.
    • Ability to use hand tools and equipment safely.
    • Attention to detail.
    • Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
    • Basic knowledge of landscaping or maintenance.
    • Enrollment in a relevant program such as Environmental Engineering, Agriculture, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or Kinesiology.
