About the role#
Clark Builders is hiring Project Coordinator Students for an 8 or 12-month work term starting in September 2026. This is a field-based, full-time, paid position. You will work under the direction of Project Managers and Superintendents to support the construction process, monitor project plans, and ensure deadlines are met.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project startups, including bid evaluations, subcontract preparation, permit applications, and quantity take-offs.
- Manage project documentation such as Requests for Information, Site Instructions, Submittals, and Change Orders.
- Support project closeout by assisting with inspections, owner training, and managing O&M Manuals.
- Track and communicate deficiency lists and handle the closeout of site services.
- Maintain the integrity of the QA/QC plan.
- Record meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
- Track project productivity and performance while supporting trade partner and client relationships.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelors degree, diploma, or 2-year certificate in a construction-related discipline, such as Civil, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or Business Administration.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator in commercial, industrial, or institutional construction is an asset.
- Familiarity with Procore, the Last Planner System, or collaborative pull planning is an asset.
