    About the role#

    ClearPath is sponsoring several Congressional Fellows through the Conservative Leadership Program. This is a one-year, full-time educational opportunity for early to mid-career professionals to work within Congress. You will be placed in a House or Senate office, committee, or caucus that advocates for conservative clean energy policy solutions. The program includes professional development sessions facilitated by ClearPath to help you broaden your capabilities in the energy sector.

    What you'll do#

    • Conduct research and analyses of policy, technologies, and industry trends related to clean energy and environmental issues.
    • Produce written products and research insights on ongoing legislative, regulatory, and innovation activities across the federal government.
    • Assist office staff with agendas, email communications, newsletters, and social media strategy.
    • Network and engage with stakeholders, including the Department of Energy, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, Congressional Committees, and industry groups.
    • Communicate complex ideas clearly and convincingly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Track federal clean energy programs and develop recommendations to improve their impact.

    What you'll need#

    • A college degree.
    • 2 to 5 years of experience in a highly related field.
    • Strong writing and analytical skills.
    • Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
    • A professional and personal commitment to ClearPath's mission and values, including an interest in conservative clean energy policies.
    • Professional experience in climate or clean energy policy is a plus, as is prior exposure to Capitol Hill or government agencies.
    • Relevant academic backgrounds include Environmental Engineering, Political Science, Public Health, Business Administration, Economics, Communications, International Relations, or Sociology.

    • This role is located in Washington, DC.
    • This is an on-site, full-time position.
